I really wanna see that Bouma/Wesgarth/McGrattan line finish out the year, with Bouma on that line things get done between those 3 and I think they end up giving us effective minutes, it looked like Big Ern and Wesgarth struggled at times with Galiardi out there.

Tones of decisions coming up in the off-season for this club but it's great to see the amount of depth we have in our system currently.

Maybe you're right.

But I'm just going on many years of watching drafts - lots of top picks don't work out.

Anyways - like the rest of you lets hope it's the right pick!

Meh game. Brodie had a tough one IMO. They'll come out flying against Toronto.

Agreed, worst game in quite some time for Brodie. Games like this are bound to happen for a young defenseman, and it's a great sign that he has been so consistently good.
I'd love to see Colborne score against Toronto, making Clarkson look bad in the process.
I'd love to see Stajan score against Toronto, making Phaneuf look bad in the process.

I think it would be even better to see Phaneuf score against toronto, making himself look even worse!

The outcomes of games don't really matter that much from here on out, it's more about the effort the team puts forth.

Very odd game to lose ...

They were even up through one period, but down a goal. Ran the table in the second period and should have been up a pair ... then gave up two chances and two goals on turnovers

you come away feeling like it was a win, but it was a three goal loss.

I think the Flames weren't really in it that game. Just a couple of turnovers that the Senators really capitalized on. Lots of our players didn't have that great of a game, TJ Brodie oddly was one of them.

The best part is watching the team develop, but yeah, it helps that there's no point in sweating about the standings.

Besides, for a below average night, that wasn't so bad. I also think the Sens played better than many here are giving credit.

Michalek is super streaky but when he lights up, he's almost unstoppable. I think the Flames did Ottawa a favor last night Michalek chewed us a new one.
