I've seen an ad on TV during a during the Oilers game (a really bad straight from the 70s ad that I was sure was a spoof) for something called FarmersOnly.com.

If their budget for advertising is similar to their budget for development I'm pretty sure they'd match those Edmonton fans with various farm animals...

Hey Jets4Life,

A fellow Winnipeger here and I met my fiance on eHarmony. They do a significant amount of work weeding out the garbage. However, there is still a process. I cruised the online site for almost 3 months before I finally met her. You really have to be specific in the information you put in, and be willing to wait for someone worth while. It has an algorithm that reacts to the women you click on and speak to so don't just talk to everyone or the algorithm will get off track as to who you'd be interested in. POF is a terrible site for skanky women to troll for married men as far as I can tell. I would suggest getting off of it ASAP.

Hope that helps, also you going to the Jets game this Friday in Calgary?

Tinder, FYI:

http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/...ctory-20141027

Tinder, which makes about 13 million matches per day, is about 40 percent female. Women are still really picky – according to Rad, they swipe left 84 percent of the time, and men swipe left only 54 percent of the time.

Tinder is where it's at for actually chatting. It gets kind of addictive too.

I don't know how it's like for other age groups though. If you're in your 20's it's great.

Tinder.... as a young 20 something year old female. I don't think it would work for an actual relationship, but FWB, definitely.

You'd be suprised. Seems to be more and more people switching from other online methods to Tinder, for actual relationships vs a FWB scenario.

I'm also not in my young 20's though, so your mileage may vary.

Funny, I turned 25 today and you can tell a lot of the younger girls had 24 as their cut offs cause just swiping through it today quickly it looks like anyone under 21 is rare.

Kids these days , always looking for the easy, fast results way of doing things.

Nowadays, you people just put down your game console controllers and post fake profiles on the internet.
Back when I was young we actually got off our asses and went out to the bars to meet girls. You'd ask them to dance, buy them drinks, ask them their interests etc. Eventually you'd get them drunk enough or drop a roofie or 2 in their drinks, and have sex with them that night. Seemed like more of a challenge and something you had to work for back then.

Do you think if you step into a bar or club today everyone is just sitting on their phones or something?

Our generation not only gets to go out and try our luck on the weekends and through other traditional means but we're so awesome that we can try to set up one night stands on Monday at 10 am from our cubicle at work. An app like tinder literally becomes a directory of girls you find attractive that also think you're good looking. We took it to the next level.

Deal with it.

Yeah, I'd be doing it too if I wasn't married.

Now get off my lawn.

Met my wife at the bar. She saw a bunch of guys in suits and asked us to buy her friend a drink for her birthday. Started talking and got her number.

If you are willing to raise your limit to 72, I know of a guy who'd be interested. First date would be splitting a six pack. He'd likely let you bring home any beers that weren't finished.
