Tough to pick just one, but the biggest moment for me these Olympics were the two Poulin goals. She gets my vote.

Bilodeau or Humphries/Moyse IMO. Or even Denny Morrison.
Where was Junio expected to place in the 1000m btw? Can't find the answer in any articles.
|
Gil is much better in the 500m than the 1000m right now. He's a decent sprinter which is why his 10th place in the 500m was a little disappointing.
In the 1000m he'd would have been top 30, top 20 if he had a really good race.

I'd be happy with any of Jones, Humphries, Poulin, JDL...

It should be Morrison. And he should be "gently persuaded" to hand it over to Junio.

And it's Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse!!!!!!
So happy with this decision. I've been following there careers for over 8 years now. So well deserved!

Yup, repeat gold and making history doing it. Good pick.
Hey, what happened to the Russian sled in that event. Weren't the way ahead after the second run? I didn't see the final two runs. Did they crash or something?

True true true.
Both great examples for young girls.

She should have stood behind her and pushed her into the stadium.

Olga Stulneva? They were something like 7th or 8th after day 1 but if I recall right, she had a very skiddy drive on the 4th heat and dropped a few places.
After a check of the results, finished 9th. Pretty much where I would have expected her to end up.
