On Bell, the game is also listed on the Sportsnet Flames channel and the Sportsnet Canucks channel. There may be a conflict with the baseball playoffs on SN West and SNP.

Holy crap am I pumped for tonight!! It's my 10th year anniversary as a season ticket holder.
If the Flames can continue to come in waves with their speed, back check hard and play as a team like they have been, then we're taking this game. Canucks won't know what hit them. We're not the greasers. It should be a spirited affair tonight.

Good forechecking, big hits and fights... Don't take many penalties and play hard each shift like the pasts 2 games and I will be more than happy with whatever the result will be.

Flames score a couple of quick ones early, capitalizing on being the fresher team.
Sedins take over the second period, flames score late in the third for the win.

Looking forward to posting my usual gifs tonight. Here's hoping the Flames put forth the same effort levels and outwork the Divers.

Home openers can be tough.
Flames will continue their hard working, fast-skating play and will surprise the Nucks 5 on 5, but special teams will do them in in the end.
If they stay out of the box, they can eke out a win. However, if it is a penalty filled affair, it could get ugly.

If the Flames can stay out of the box, I think they'll make a game of it. The 'Nucks are an aging team on the decline much like the Flames were a few years back, but their offence can still be explosive, and the Sedins will eat us alive if the Flames don't play smart defensively. Over the past few seasons those guys have had an easy time playing Calgary. I just want the Flames to play hard and prove that they're not easy prey anymore.
GO FLAMES!

Flames win 4 - 3. Baertschi, Bouma, stempniak, and Colbourne with the goals. Monahan with 2 assists. McGrattan cleans Sestito's clock.
As for the penalty box... It's Vancouver! Of course the flames will be in the penalty box a lot tonight... Kesler will pull off his usual Olympic diving performance and the media and league won't call him out on it.

Flames will not try to match skill with the Canucks and will out work them for much of the game to take an advantage. It will be close but I think the fresher legs will win tonight. Flames 5-4

As always, the Canucks go where their goalie goes.

Keeping my expectations in check. I know it's been an awesome start, but it'll be a long year let's not fool ourselves.
However, as with the first two games I'll be ecstatic to watch the team hustle, play hard and to watch the kids do their thing!
Go hockey!!!

Doesn't matter if we lose tonight... all I want to see is the same kind of effort, backcheck and overall zone pressure I saw the last two games and I will be one happy camper.

Hard to get a read on the Canucks right now. Loss to a good Sharks team and a win against a bad Oilers team missing two of their top players.
Flames, on the other hand, haven't looked as bad as predicted by the pundits.

Man it would be sweet for the flames to blow out the Canucks in the home opener... A 5 - 0 flames win would feel like an early Christmas present.

Can't take penalties with our PK and the Sedins waiting to go Globetrotters on us.

Now that I see who is starting I am changing it to 8-7 Canucks. MacDonald is a brutal goalie, just waive him already.

I want us to destroy the Nucks but we'll likely get our asses handed to us.
