Very true. I am a type 2 diabetic, but it is very well controlled. It has to be, otherwise I would not be able to pass the physical required for my class 2 license.

Nonetheless, diabetes are still at higher risk of stroke and heart attack.

I hope the investigation provides some answers, at least to give the family a degree of closure.
