In the south I found it at the ratty little liquor store across from Chinook Centre on Macleod trail. And I also grabbed a case at the liquor store across from COP. I think the fact it's an Ale not a lager is why I like it so much. Seriously good cheap beer.

Co-op in Okotoks had lots today. Both the Coors and Labatt 50.

Sent from my tablet, while drinking swill.

Why?

I have had beer form all over the world in places all round the world. I can truely say the only beer that I remember and can still "taste" is the traditional Africian beer brewed in the traditional Africian way.

I enjoy beer, isn't that the point.

Don't feel sorry for me, I don't feel sorry for you that you are a beer snob.

It's all good, crack a cold one and drink.

It's a long way from thinking that not all beers are the same to a beer snob.

Whatever, it's beer, it needs to be cold, that is all.

I'm not quite at this point, however I do agree that beer snobs, like coffee snobs or food snobs, need to realize that like beers not all people are the same.

Um, no.
Crush a case of Wildcat Strong and tell me all beers are the same when you can poop through the eye of a needle the next morning.

I grabbed a 6 pack yesterday, and I really like it. It is much smoother than Coors light, but with a similar flavor.

You like this because it has a similar flavor to Coors light? You just gave the naysayers all the ammo they could ever need to prove their point.

"Wow, I love this new Ford Focus, it has just as much power as my Geo had, but with modern plastic interior!"

I don't know why, but I just erupted in laughter by your post

Don't blame the Wildcat if you get mauled...

It's a good thing, one of if not the best mass produced beers. It's a piss off they are charging so much for it but we've all spent more on worse. Now we just need to get Miller Highlife here and we are set.

I wonder if this is a test to see how the large US brands will do in Canada. Maybe Miller Highlife and Miller Lite won't be far behind.

I'm pretty sure that Coors Light and Budweiser proved that Canadians will buy US branded swill.

^ Mountain Crest still goes down as the only beer I have ever had just one sip and thrown out, and I think that is their flagship brand.
