Everything I have read coming out of Baltimore this summer has Smith becoming a true #1 receiver who isn't one dimensional guy anymore. He has expanded his game and isn't a straight line fly guy anymore. For example, he took a quick slant and outran the entire defense for a 77 yard score last week.Their offense is better suited for bombs, but Caldwell will likely do other things to expose Smith speed since he is tough to catch. For whatever reason the third year is the magical year for WR which Smith will be entering. I would go with Smith.

yes WR for sure with the next 2 picks. I'll probably rotate a different D every week. I'm really hoping the rookies in my league waste their top picks on WR's

Every season someone always emerges as a viable waiver pickup at Wide Receiver. Brandon Lloyd, Victor Cruz, and Cecil Shorts III are all guys I picked up on waivers who outperformed any WR I drafted the past 3 years. Injuries will always seem to create opportunity for someone at that position.

Did my 10 team draft last weekend and there was quite a bit of alcohol consumed. This is a PPR league and I was last in the order. Here's what I ended up with
QB - Kaepernick, Vick
RB - Trent Richardson, Forte, Lacy, Ball
WR - Andre Johnson, Roddy White, Desean Jackson, Lance Moore, Chris Givens, Crabtree
TE - Jordan Cameron
DEF - Green Bay
K - Vinatieri

Like the Moore pick. Near the end of the season he seemed to get more balls thrown to him.

Drafted 6th out of 10 in my keeper league. Kept RG3, Kaepernik and Spiller and it's a 2 QB league. Will probably have to drop Ingram to pick up a kicker.
1 #Demaryius Thomas
2 David Wilson
3 Vincent Jackson
4 Antonio Brown
5 Shane Vereen
7 Ben Tate
8 Mark Ingram
8 Cecil Shorts
9 Brandon Weeden
10 DEN D
11 Percy Harvin
12 Greg Olson

10 team keeper league. Inagural draft
- Felt afterwards like I reached for Hilton at 5th round, notable picks right after were Jordy Nelson, Danny Amendola, Hakeem Nicks and Reggie Wayne.
-Felt like I got good value at Miles Austin in round 8 and Justin Blackmon in round 9
I took no kickersw or defense, but am currently in the process of dropping Jaquizz Rodgers for Cincinnati defense... Who should I drop for my kicker?

I think I would have taken Wayne ahead of Hilton myself, although in a keeper league the youth angle factors in. He's still the guy who will get targets. Cameron was a solid pick though, good insurance for Gronk. Moreno might end up as the best fantasy back in Denver this year too.

Im kind of bummed..I got Russell Wilson as a QB. He is decent right? Well I go to projections and he is set to get around 36 pts in almost every week. Not bad right? Well I go through and look at the QB's I am playing.. they are projected at getting 50+ pts every week.. WTF?!?!?
I drafted a pretty good team:
1. (4) Arian Foster (Hou - RB)
2. (21) A.J. Green (Cin - WR)
3. (28) Julio Jones (Atl - WR)
4. (45) Russell Wilson (Sea - QB)
5. (52) Tony Gonzalez (Atl - TE)
6. (69) Ahmad Bradshaw (Ind - RB)
7. (76) DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR)
8. (93) Denver (Den - DEF)
9. (100) Ryan Mathews (SD - RB)
10. (117) Shane Vereen (NE - RB)
11. (124) Josh Freeman (TB - QB)
12. (141) Chris Givens (StL - WR)
13. (148) Danny Woodhead (SD - RB)
14. (165) Rueben Randle (NYG - WR)
15. (172) Josh Brown (NYG - K)

Just participated in my first fantasy draft - 2 QB 8 team league. 3 of the 8 teams in the league are on autodraft with the long weekend and all. Here's my team. RB situation looks like crap after Dwyer being released - thought he was going to get lots of touches the first few weeks.
QB - Drew Brees
QB - Peyton Manning
WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Andre Johnson
WR - Eric Decker
RB - Frank Gore
RB - Benjarvus Green Ellis
TE - Jason Witten
W/R/T - James Jones
K - Stephen Gostkowski
DEF - Cinncinnati
BEN - Matt Schaub
BEN - Darris Hayward-Bey
BEN - Golden Tate
BEN - Heath Miller
BEN - Jonathan Dwyer
Thoughts?

Did my draft this week. 14 team league, have to carry 2 kickers and D/ST at all times.
Scoring is pretty TD heavy.
QB- Kaepernick, Roethlisberger
RB - Martin, Ridley, Ingram
WR- Cobb, Decker, Tavon Austin, Mike Williams
D/ST - Cowboys, Falcons
K - Akers, Folk
My WRs are pretty underwhelming. I've never done well drafting WR and every year there is some solid waiver options available.

Not sure whether to drop Moreno or Ingram for my defense. Both of them seem are in an ugly trio tandem.
I think Ingram is the better back but he also has to compete with Sproles, Moreno just needs to fight with Hillman and Ball

I totally hosed my draft this year in a big money league. I didn't like the RB's that were available at my spots in the 1st or 2nd round and underestimated how quickly some of the rbs were going to go. I ended up with Daryl Richardson and Chris Ivory at RB (Ingram and Tolbert on the bench). I am hoping that having Calvin Johnson, AJ Green and Brandon Marshall will somehow counter my crappy RB play, but I doubt it.
