NHL teams have received the schedule. Guessing NHL wants to release sched in conjuction with Olympic announcement. Only reason to hold off.

Maybe I missed something. But I thought each team was supposed to play home and away this season. Now I see that only half the Eastern teams will be playing in the Dome next season. I'm pissed off.

Look at the panthers sked as an example...home and away with all West teams.

It has a posting date of September 6, 2012, so I'm pretty sure that was the 82 game schedule released for last season. Also, it doesn't start until October 11, and King has said that the Flames first home game is scheduled for October 6.
