For the Hawks to have a chance some of their players like Kane have to stop playing like individuals and more as a team. Toews has to up his game and create points on a regular basis and the dfenec has to be alot smarter in their own end and give up so many turnovers.

5 games, wow!
Don't get me wrong, I also think the Kings will take it, but what does Chicago need to do to prove themselves? Best team in the regular season by a mile, and a huge character comeback win in the second round, down 3-1.
I think it will be a lot closer than you are giving them credit for.

I'm rooting for the Kings. It's going to be a tough finale if it's the Kings vs the Penguins. I love Robyn Regehr and Jarmoe has huge history here.

I'm pulling for Kings since I want to see Darryl have a chance at repeating as well as Regehr to get his shot at the cup.

I'm looking at the series that finished and felt that the physical play of the Wings gave the Hawks lots of trouble. It also took 7 games for the Hawks to beat an over achieving Wings team. The Kings are much stronger than the Wings with better goaltending and a stronger team defence. They also won't be able to free wheel like they did in the regular season. All that spells trouble and I don't see how the Hawks can match the playoff style of the Kings

Tough to call this one for sure. Quick can steal a series on his own, but I think it's gonna be hawks in 7.

Hawks in 6. They outlasted some awful calls in their last series.

Disappointed to see Oilfan not make this thread, but what's done is done.
After Vancouver lost I was hoping to see these 4 teams in the finals. A Chicago-Pittsburgh finals would just be terrific hockey, however in this series I think Kings take it in 6.

I think the difference in this series will be the health of the Kings. If they are as banged up as some suspects the Hawks win. If they are relatively healthy, they take it.

Excluding Kipper, Regehr is the player I want to see lift the cup more than anyone else. I think LA takes it in 7.

Who cares who makes the thread AS LONG as the op updates the thread as fast as he made it.
Making a series thread should have you at least post the times of the games and update the thread title after each game, if not, just let someone else start the thread.

It's no big deal, I don't care.
Seriously, thank for the props though everyone. It was fun making them. I love predictions, etc.
As for this series, I will be rooting for Chicago. In terms of predictions............I think the series could go either way. LA has the best goalie on the planet currently and that gives them the advantage. I think Chicago will learn a lesson from the Detroit series. Although it wouldn't shock me at all if LA won, Hawks in 7.

You're right, it's no big deal. One thing, HD does let us know when he can't do a GDT.

Gord Miller will be calling this series for TSN games 1-3. Unfortunately, it's going to be Ferraro the fool doing colour.

Why was their two, two daybreaks between games in the SJ vs. LAK series. They were just dying to get SJ through.
On a side note were in for a good series but i don't think it goes the distance. Kings in 6 or less.
