We're not going to have two separate threads guys. This one was started first, not the end of the world. If you want to make predictions or discuss the series you might as well start now in this thread.

Of course it's not the end of the world. The point being discussed was tradition and who creates certain threads. Guess we'll agree to disagree on this

That's fine. What if OF goes on vacation for 2 weeks? We're just going to wait around and not have a thread for this series? When HD is busy someone else does the GDTs. It's not a huge deal.........someone made this one first, life goes on.

I've got no issue with closing it if people have some sort of superstition I wasn't aware of.

You're not being an ass at all, it's all good.

Anyhoo..........really looking forward to this series. I think the Kings will take it in 6. Very deep, very physical and probably have the best goalie on the planet right now. Just hoping it's a long series.

I have been hoping for this series, I'm really excited for it to start. I'm in the Hawks corner on this one, I think they take it in 6, but with Regehr and Darryl on the Kings I will be far from disappointed if they happen to advance.

Well the good news is with the whining is this thread about who started it it may match the whining in the other CF thread by Bertuzzied about people cheering for the Pens!

Should be a great series. I think they split the first two and LA wins their games at home and the series in 6.

This is a close one, could go either way. I'll say Blackhawks in 7.

These are two ideal series for conference finals. Hard to predict who will come out of them but they both seem like good guarantee that they'll be quality games.

Will be another close series, I think it will be a homer series but in Game 7 the Kings will prove to be too big, too strong for the Hawks to keep pace with. Kings in 7.

The Wings downfall was they as a team weren't fast enough for the Hawks. The Kings are a lot faster and stronger. When given no space and time, we have seen the Hawks can be beat. Kings in 6.

Anyway..... the Kings will finish off the Hawks in 5 games. Quick is better than Crawford in goal and will prove to be a huge diffence in this series. Then there's the physical play of the Kings that is going to give the Hawks trouble. Finally the strong defensive play of the Kings and thier trap will not allow the Hawks to free wheel.

For the Hawks to have a chance some of their players like Kane have to stop playing like individuals and more as a team. Toews has to up his game and create points on a regular basis and the dfenec has to be alot smarter in their own end and give up so many turnovers.
