I don't buy the "PR" angle on Cervenka. Weisbrod and Feaster screwed up on thinking he could be a center. It was not until Hartely came in and looked at tape when they realised he was more of a winger.

Would not surprise me if he is let go if they are bounced in the first round. No idea who would replace? I will say Hextall from your list, but thats just a guess.

I thought the. Erat acquisition was good for them. It's definitely a win-now type of move, but that is where they should be. One of Washington's biggest issues was lack of leadership and Erat brings that.

and why would people want a GM that has been let go after their team has crashed out of the playoffs? Isn't that a proven track record of failure? I don't understand peoples desires sometimes.

Let's get a GM who is a failure to replace our GM who is a failure like every other GM whose team failed to win the cup this year.
