Wish i was old enough to have remembered 93. Pulling for the Islanders as im a closet islanders fan after being a flames fan, but lets be real, pitts gonna roll this one.
Extremely pumped and excited to see Iggy in the playoffs for the first time in years, hopefully he has an awesome and inspiring time. Must say, feels nice to be genuinely excited about the playoffs again.

Surprised there has been no mention of the Penguins - Islanders brawl from 2011. This should be one of the most interesting series.
My thought as well, no way the Islanders take the series, but the Penguins are gonna be feeling beat up after this one. Should be a lively series even if the Penguins manage to blow out 4 in a row.
The Isles are a funny team against the Pens. In the past I've gone to games where the Isles just completely dominate them for 50 minutes, but then let up five in half a period. Will be a very interesting one to watch, but I'd imagine Pens in 5.
Pens will take this series, as this will be a learning year for the Isles. The islanders remind me of the first time Pittsburgh made the playoffs after the lockout, with a young Crosby/Malkin/Fleury core that lost in round 1. Young and inexperienced, but really took off the following seasons.
I just saw on the Score that Crosby has 75pts in 41 games vs the Isles. Almost 2 ppg, that's ridiculous. The only way I see the pens losing is if fleury falters. But he's had a really strong season and I don't see that happening this year.
Islanders - Pens have had some pretty good games this year. I don't think it will be as easy as everyone is expecting. Hoping for an upset, I'll take Isles in 6.
