The Isles already massively overachieved and benefitted with the short season. Tavares is great but the Penguins are so much better.

If Crosby is back it is an easy 4 games if Crosby takes time getting back it is still an easy 4 games.

Hoping and expecting the Pens in 4 or 5.

Extremely pumped and excited to see Iggy in the playoffs for the first time in years, hopefully he has an awesome and inspiring time. Must say, feels nice to be genuinely excited about the playoffs again.

I think Pitt will win it in 5. May be because Pitt want to get extra money from the 5th game.

I want Iggy to go on a legendary scoring tear.

PEns in 5 and Jarome with 9 goals.

Surprised there has been no mention of the Penguins - Islanders brawl from 2011. This should be one of the most interesting series.

My thought as well, no way the Islanders take the series, but the Penguins are gonna be feeling beat up after this one. Should be a lively series even if the Penguins manage to blow out 4 in a row.

Hoping for an Isles sweep and that Iggy never makes it past the first round for the rest of his career.

The Isles are a funny team against the Pens. In the past I've gone to games where the Isles just completely dominate them for 50 minutes, but then let up five in half a period. Will be a very interesting one to watch, but I'd imagine Pens in 5.

pens in 5. i'm scared of the rangers, though. i think they'll take out the caps in 6 and then take the pens to 7.

Pens will take this series, as this will be a learning year for the Isles. The islanders remind me of the first time Pittsburgh made the playoffs after the lockout, with a young Crosby/Malkin/Fleury core that lost in round 1. Young and inexperienced, but really took off the following seasons.

I just saw on the Score that Crosby has 75pts in 41 games vs the Isles. Almost 2 ppg, that's ridiculous. The only way I see the pens losing is if fleury falters. But he's had a really strong season and I don't see that happening this year.

Why is this? I get indifference to Iginla, but don't understand rooting against him.

Islanders - Pens have had some pretty good games this year. I don't think it will be as easy as everyone is expecting. Hoping for an upset, I'll take Isles in 6.

Isles in 7! Underdog versus clear favorites.
