I used to work with a coworker that lived in Airdrie. I would commute on the odd occasion, and we would meet at the Wal-Mart. Traffic is always bottle-necked in rush hour. I was lucky enough to be going against the traffic. Airdrie is one poorly designed city.

Why would people from Airdrie be driving past Stoney to get to Cross Iron? Sounds like the poster is talking about the traffic coming from Calgary to Cross Iron.
Last year on boxing day the lane going into Cross Iron was backed up to Stoney. We were going to head in and saw the line before we could see the mall so we bailed.
You want to talk about poorly planned? It's the entrances to Cross Iron on both sides, they aren't capable of handling the traffic.. I'll usually head in the back way from Metis Trail.
