No idea at all, although he is having a good night at the plate, which is the only area.

I feel as the season goes on, we will see Rasmus and Lawrie both move up in the lineup.

I have no idea. He hasn't done much to earn that spot.

I agree. Eventually I think Rasmus would look great in the 2 hole.

Manager wants to see what he's got in Thames. Give him the opportunity to produce in the 5 spot. No excuses not to do well there.

Is there really a difference between the 5th and 6th? Thames is still going to be with this team for the next two months at least. Jays are going to make sure he gets a fair amount of time and then there will be nooo discussion at all when Snider is given the job. Also Snider's numbers in Vegas need to be taken with a big grain of salt with how horrible the PCL is. I like Thames as the 4th outfielder though. No problem there.

And Colby Rasmus is has the best looking swing on this team

What a play by Lawrie! Remember when people thought he was poor defensively?

Thames hitting by Lind is a managers dream when you have a LHP warming up in the pen.

Not sure where it says that because you have a lead in baseball you should just throw fastballs?

Big strikeout. Painful that this happened with the 8-9-1. Close it out

cause you can't really walk guys throwing fastballs... more control.
Jays were LUCKY Bettencourt chased that or it would be bases loaded.

He threw 6 fastballs and one changeup to the one batter he walked. He's just not that good of a pitcher is the main problem I think! I agree with the logic to challenge the hitters and make them hit the ball when you're up by 4, it just wasn't because of that, it's because Carlos V is not a good pitcher haha
