Are you totally incapable of starting a thread? Start one if you think it's needed.

Well, thats the prospect update thread in the back burner. The posters on this site who care about all the prospects will still post there, just Baertschi is at a level above the rest, so he's a star attraction to follow.

Portland had almost 60 shots yesterday. The only way this series isn't over in 4 is if the goaltender steals a game.

Essentially it's for the Winterhawks... I was trying to immerse myself in one teams playoff run so I can actually get excited about it. I'm not complaining, but I sincerely doubt the Flames are making the playoffs and I wanted to follow a team for a good run.
It's pretty unnecessarily insulting to assume that myself and others don't care about anyone but Sven, there's no need for such harsh accusations? Is it so bad that we want to follow someone who came up and wowed us in the big club recently? Just because I wasn't posting the other prospects stats doesn't mean myself and others aren't checking them.
I've added the other prospects to the original posts, because it is still a good idea, just more work to keep up with all those games.

I've been thinking about using WHL live to watch the game tonight, but it's just way too expensive. And every time I've done it this season, Sven went scoreless, so I'm bad luck.
Why is it so difficult to watch sports? I can't even get the Hitmen without doing this. $8 is way too much.

On the schedule for Saturday night, only one game featuring a Flames prospect: Game 2, Kelowna vs Portland at 8:00pm Calgary time (7:00 in Portland).
The Kootenay-Edmonton and Calgary-Brandon series both continue tomorrow with 5:00pm Calgary starts.

No, I think a thread for Sven is well deserved, I just thought since we have other prospects in the WHL playoffs, it might be worthwhile to make an all encompassing thread for all our prospects in the WHL playoffs. If people are most interested in Sven during the playoffs, that's cool.
I know I made a sweeping generalization of Flames fans with what I said because that's what I believe. Since there are well over 1500 people that visit CP daily and probably less than 50 visit the Back Burner Forum (maybe a dozen regularly post there) I figured that Sven is the only prospect most fans care to follow.
No harm meant to you personally.

Interview with Wotherspoon's dad in the first intermission, nothing too crazy to note but here's the notes on that.
- Tyler started playing at age 6.
- Younger brother in second year bantam coming up soon.
- Drafting by Calgary was very exciting, close to home.
- Really enjoyed camp, looking forward to next chance. Apparently he got on rather well with Holland...
- Keep working hard, don't take anything for granted.
- Describes his son as a bit quiet, very level-headed, really enjoys his hockey and is going to get into a solid training routine before next season.

Wotherspoon scores! Hawks up 4-0.
Sven gets his second assist of the game too.

Sounds like Sven has had a ton of chances to score. No dice though... yet.

Ferland with the go-ahead goal for Brandon. Wheat Kings lead the Hitmen 3-1 after 2.
Leach with Kootenay's only goal in the second. Brossoit with 3 GA on 12 shots. Ice lead the Oil Kings 3-2 after 2.

Poor Kootenay. Looks like they've let in 2 late 3rd period goals to lose it.
