Really? Taco Time beef is so bland; lowest common denominator stuff made so un-spicy so as not to offend the meek.
El Paso home-made tacos >>> Taco Time.

Hm I've never actually considered El Paso before. I always try making my own spice mix. Their jingle is quite catchy though. Alright! I'll give'er a shot!
Edit: Although I may have to pilfer some hot sauce from Taco Time though...

except it does kill you and a little education would teach you that, enjoy your taco bell until you get cardiac disease from the fat and cancer from the chemicals. nobody cares about cancer until they get it.

Taco Time. RIP Taco Time Cantina. I will miss thee, $5 Pacificos (.

Oh yes, I remember reading something about this. I think the promotion of eating insects was originally to curb global warming because cows eat alot of grain, and through flatulence, release greenhouse gases that will kill us all in catastrophic climate change. What a fraud. The goal is to reduce meat consumption.
The overall trend of including fake ingredients in processed food is quite common. Since the corporations are always looking to reduce costs and protect profits, this will continue as we cannot rely on agencies like the FDA (who are a partner with big food business more than a regulatory body) to look after our collective health.

I was always pretty sure that Taco Bell was 35% beef and 65% industrial strength laxative.

Ironically, this thread has inspired me to head over to Eaton Centre (or whatever they call it now) at lunch for some 1/3 beef, 2/3 unknown tacos.

not shocking, considering taco bell has been in the basement of fast food quality of meat rankings for years (i think wendy's/harvey's were up top).
on a seperate note, for any CP'ers that come out to TO/GTA often, check out a place called "burrito boys". I promise you'll never miss taco bell ever again.

No sir. I am eating them at my desk at this very moment. They may be full of filler, corn startch and anything but beef, but man are they tasty.

Taco Del Mar is probably the closest thing to a Qdoba in Calgary, it's a pretty solid option IMO.

Health isn't really the point of the law suit. It's Taco Bell. Beef or cardboard, it's still terrible, cancer-inducing food, but that's beside the point. They're claiming something is beef when it's not, and companies should not be able to lie about ingredients. Who gives a s*** if you don't care what's in there, I do, and a lot of others do, too.
I've got a great meat pie here with some beef and pork that looks strikingly like mud. Either way, it probably won't kill you. $6 only!
