Tacos are one of those things that are much better home-made.

I think there would be a certain weird justice thing if Chinese food was made from cats, and taco bell was made from Chinese people.

A law firm is doing prop bono work. Not possible, whenever there are lawyers involved there is always money changing hands, either through suit or through re-coup of fees.
Honestly I dont care what is in there so long as it wont kill me. Health Nazzis can go F* themselves.

Norm Peterson: [about his and Cliff's meal at The Hungry Heifer] Yeah, Cliffy had himself the tunnel T-bone. For less than four bucks, you get 24 ounces of USDA choice US bef.
Cliff Clavin: Bef? You mean beef.
Norm Peterson: Beef? Don't be ridiculous Cliffy, that stuff is bef. You see, it's a Hungry Heifer trademark for a processed, synthetic, what... , meat-like substance.
Cliff Clavin: Ohh, Norm.
Norm Peterson: What do expect for four bucks? Do you hear me complain about the loobster?

The best case is that Taco Bell calls it "almost beef filling"

I will put down $10 that they will sue the term "Beef-flavoured filling" or make up a new trade name like: "beefy"

There's a Dutch scientist trying to convince the West to start eating insects. Only N.America and Europe don't eat insects regularly, although we all consume 500 grams a year, as it can't be avoided with processed foods. He also mentioned that it takes 8 times more resources to raise a kilo of beef versus a kilo of insect meat. I can't wait for locust, as it's very similar to lobster, apparently.

On a side note this story isn't surprising, many food products aren't what they seem, as a kid I worked in a fish processing plant back east...put it this way I would never ever eat packaged fish products.(eg..captain highliner)

I have actually taken a liking to ground pork in my home tacos instead of beef. Not sure what prompted me to start, but I prefer the taste and it is much leaner than even lean ground beef.

I tried making my taco beef like Taco Time's beef at home. But it just wasn't quite the same. There's just something about their beef that I love. Maybe it's drugs. Yeah...it must be drugs.
