I don't want to go into too much detail on Twitter but Tesla's delivery situation this quarter is somewhere between very bad and terrible.

This guy usually nails the quarterly sales numbers, so, well...

about a month before they release publicly.

OK but then why are you bringing up some situation where we didn’t hate him like it’s relevant?

It’s kind of misses the point over why people are angry.

Why would you rush to the defence of Elon Musk?

Oh no! Don’t vandalize the richest man in the world who didn’t get voted into power started destabilizing the entire US government cutting aid across hundreds of contracts thousands (millions?) of people bought a massive social media platform to control messaging and then came out as a straight up nazi seig heiling and doing interviews defending white nationalists!

How DARE you people spray paint his cars and crush his ####ty company?! Won’t you think of Elon?

In case you guys haven’t noticed we’re already past the point where action and physical violence is an inevitable outcome now. You don’t operate as the richest man in the world the way he has without consequences. Sorry, humans just aren’t like that and you don’t even need a cursory understanding of history to have a clue.

For such a smart guy Elon Musk really seems to have overshot here.

If you can't call January 6 terrorism, you don't get to call Tesla fires or Luigi terrorism.

It is indeed ALL terrorism.

FAFO

My favourite thing is a bunch of people harping about free speech and cancel culture. Elon used his free speech. The free market told him to eat s***. Capitalism baby.

But Gerber has, until now, been#more of a critical friend to Musk#than an outright opponent. Yet this week as Tesla’s stock price continues to fall, Gerber’s stance has shifted.

“There’s no question [Musk] has been committed to his job at the government, that’s where he’s spending his time. He is not running Tesla,” Gerber#told Sky News. “I think#Tesla#needs a new CEO and I decided today I was going to start saying it… It’s time for somebody to run Tesla. The business has been neglected for too long.

It's fun that this investor thinks anything short of Musk fully divesting himself of the company will do anything.

The brand is probably toxic for the remainder of it's existence regardless.

Oh and to further solidify the brand; Tesla is recalling over 45,000 Cybertruck vehicles in the U.S. to fix an exterior panel that could detach while driving (because it’s glued on).

"An" exterior panel? The plastic bed trim is known to fly off. The thin border piece around the windows has come unglued on many. I've seen videos of the entire rear quarter panels unglued from their support structure. Same with the frunk. All glued on. It's the perfect example of the fraud that is Musk. It's not an exoskeleton, it's a stick on skin. The Cybertruck has no clothes.

Default The ongoing X and Elon Musk Transgressions Thread

Musk says there will be 1million people living on Mars in 20 years or 30 years at the outside. The guy is effing delusional, why does anybody listen to him anymore?

Having Tesla Robotaxis by then is more realistic

Musk thinks if he heats up the surface of Mars it will melt the ice and automatically create a livable atmosphere. He has the mind of a child and he’s watched way too many movies.

I know somebody with a Cybertruck and I went driving around with him. Obviously I'd never buy one, but you're out of your mind if you wouldn't hop in that weird-ass thing and enjoy yourself. It's definitely like that old moped/fat chick joke (both fun to ride until one of your friends sees you), but if you like vehicles, getting into a lightening fast gigantic wedge and having it sketchily drive you around in FSD is actually hilarious.

Carnival rides are fun too, because you fear for your life at every moment, but I'd never buy one of those, either.

I’m curious…how long were you in the truck and what were people’s reactions? If it was a longish ride (not just around the block) be interested in the looks and any comments.

I wouldn’t want people to see me in that POS.

I want a good exterior panel that doesn't fly off while you driving!

Does the Nazi Swasticar do the hair too, or just skin? How about eyes, or is that an add on?

Guy probably gets his science learning from Total Recall, and is just patiently waiting to find that girl with the 3 knockers so he can knock her up too.
