Isn't China set to deploy a new class of near silent nuclear submarine?

They have a few, their attack boats (Nuclear) are composed of a mix force of 3 or 4 type 91 Han submarines. They're noisy and have a poor sonar suite, they are really a 70's or 80's era boat.

They've deployed 2 or 3 type 93 Shang class which in terms of quieting and sonar are equivalent to a 688i Class of boat, they're very good, but are a generation behind.

Their new boat which is a 95 class, they're not going to build a lot of them, but they're considered a 3rd generation boat, which means that they lag behind more modern nuclear boats, but they're still quiet and have an improved sonar suite, they are also specifically designed as an escort boat for a carrier battle group.

The other boats that your thinking of are Ballistic missile boat, the type 94 is a fairly new boat and they've deployed 4. They're considered a poor class of boat as they are noisy which is death to a missile boat who's primary mission is to hide. Their radiated noise is louder then a Delta Missile boat which were deployed in the late 70's by the Russians. The type 94 boat is literally the same design as a Russian Victor III attack boat with a missile compartment welded in the middle.

Not much is known about the type 96 except that its seriously behind plan and they haven't been deployed on combat patrols.

As it is in any war scenario for the most part the missile subs are left out of it as they aren't fast enough to be attack boats and they are viewed as a strategic instead of tactical platform, so you don't want to risk losing one because it rips a hole in your nuclear attack plan.

The Russians used to hide their missile boats in shallow bays and mine fields to keep American Boats away from them. The Russians like the Chinese also have a different strategy when it comes to their submarine doctrine, they believe in deploying attack boats to protect missile boats. The Americans send their missile boats out on deterrence patrols without escort because their missile boats which are the Ohio class boomers are quieter then the noise of the ocean around them, however the Americans are looking at either an entirely new design by 2040 or to create a variant of the Virginia class submarine which can act as a multipurpose boat.

He never really had to go after Ben for an extended period. Over time he would have no doubt. He just doesn't give a flying ####, he thinks he's invincible.

In a move surprising no one, a handful of GOP lawmakers in the House vote differently than they had promised against the new LGBT bill amendments to kill it.

Trump lies again. Shocking, I know.

Quote:
When Donald Trump skipped a GOP debate in January to host a fundraiser for veterans, he touted its success by citing the $6 million raised for veterans groups. One problem -- that figure is inaccurate.

Following the rally in Des Moines, Iowa, the Trump campaign said the event raised $5 million and Trump personally contributed an additional $1 million. But campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told CNN Friday the amount raised was actually less than $6 million.

Lewandowski said he did not "know the exact number" off the top of his head and would confirm the number in coming days. He explained the discrepancy by saying at the time of the rally, Trump believed he had raised $6 million but more money had been pledged than was actually donated.

Donald Trump on Friday told the National Rifle Association that Hillary Clinton would take away the right to bear arms -- a position the Democratic front-runner has never taken and immediately denounced.

Moments after the gun group endorsed Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee dove right into attacking Clinton, saying she "wants to abolish the Second Amendment."

"We're not going to let that happen," Trump said. "We're going to preserve it, we're going to cherish it."

Clinton, who swiftly rebutted Trump's remarks, has called for universal background checks and stricter controls on firearms, but has never called for the abolition of the 2nd Amendment. In fact, on her website, she calls gun ownership "part of the fabric of many law-abiding communities."
Quote:
He even referenced Clinton's advantage with women voters, arguing that Clinton is telling "every woman that she doesn't have the right to defend herself" with a firearm.

"That is so unfair and that is so egregious and I'll tell you what, my poll numbers with women are starting to go up," he said.

Trump also accused Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of being hypocritical for having armed Secret Service agents around them while calling for stricter gun control measures, and called on the Clintons to "let their bodyguards immediately disarm."

As Trump fatigue begins to set in, let us all appreciate how much he's enjoying crushing Chris Christie's spirit.

Why the hell is Jack Nicklaus supporting Trump. Why would a guy with such a great legacy as a classy sportsman and philanthropist risk throwing that all away to get behind such a hateful and distasteful campaign.

I'm not surprised rich old white guys support Trump. I bet the majority of PGA players are Republicans.

Most of the rich, white, old guys I know (many of whom are republican) despise Trump and think he's a fool though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the typical Southern, proper, republican type go towards Hillary. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of blue collar democrats go towards Trump. I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump and Clinton end up flipping some southern red states blue, and some rust belt blue states red.

Do you think that some of these endorsements happen not because of support for Hilary or Trump, rather out of hatred for the opponent?

Thought this article was pretty good (and long) regarding Trump's variance in the economic status of his supporters:
