Wouldn't be that much of a stretch, Rick killed his dad and Carl stole his girlfriend.

Carl was my first thought after that scene. I was like, oh, he's asking Rick how to defend himself. That'll be useful against Carl when wandering girl gets between them.

Yeah the "bold prediction" was sarcasm. It's almost too obvious where they're going with that kid.

Maybe Glenn will be revealed as some captured/converted member of the wolves for mid season finale.

Ah yes, that's right.

I think Maggie's speech in the sewer was more about relinquishing control over every situation, rather than simply having closure with Glenn. She doesn't know what happened to him, and I believe that's how it relates to her erasing his and Nick's names from the wall. They didn't want to think and operate in the definitive (ie. saying that they are dead).

It may not be a popular opinion but I hope that Glenn is dead. Having him somehow escape that mass of zombies seems virtually impossible. Also, any character has to be at risk, including all of the main ones (Glenn, Rick, Michone et al). I think that the producers are leading fans on and it will be revealed that he died. I like Glenn but I think his escape from those walkers would somewhat tarnish the show for me. If he is alive they'd better have some realistic explanation. Yes, I know I just mentioned realism in a program about zombies.

I agree with this but I wouldn't mind if he escaped despite being mortally wounded, and then manages to come back and save the day for the group in the mid season finale before kicking the bucket.

I really think something big is brewing with him though, somehow.

I really don't think it's all that unrealistic for him to survive. The Zombies are essentially like animals. If you were fighting a group of pitbulls, you could distract them by throwing some raw meat in their direction and running away. Glenn has that with Nicholas's body. He also has a hiding spot under the dumpster.

What he really needs is a timely distraction. Considering that Glenn and Abraham are in that very area, as far as fiction goes, it wouldn't be a huge stretch for them to run across him. The Wolves are also in the area and actively looking for his people. They could take him captive....although another Glenn is a prisoner scenario seems a bit tired at this stage.

I kept waiting for him to try and push Rick down to the Z's below.

I was worried about exactly the same thing. The worry changed to eager/giddy anticipation when they switched spots when Rick handed him his gun for pretend target practice.

Didn't care for the episode as they expanded on characters that aren't really compelling outside of maybe the acting nurse. Deanna and her son can die any time as far as I'm concerned as the less they focus on her the better. Drawing out the Glenn thing kind of sucks as well as if he's dead he's dead and if he's alive it's lame.

I don't mind them dragging out the Glenn situation as long as there is some sort of pay off when they finally resolve it.

I had a conversation with my sister in law about the pace of TWD last night. She thought there were too many characters to keep track of and she didn't seem to really care about most of them. It occurred to me that Game of Thrones has at least as many characters and maybe even more "main" characters. I don't really have difficulty keeping track of them and the show does a decent job of developing the different characters and plots week to week.

Both GoT and TWD have a ton of source material to draw from, but GoT only gets 10 episodes a season and has been sprinting through the plot points. TWD gets 16 episodes a season and has been taking its time and indulging on many more "show only" tangents. Maybe there's a happy medium between the densely packed episodes on GoT and the uneven sometimes weak episodes of TWD, but I think showrunners should probably err on the side of giving viewers too much to work with each week rather than relying on characters like Deanna or Ron or Denise or a goat to carry the show.

I always feel like the directors and writers realize lots of viewers binge watch these days and the tempo works better when you do that.

GoT has to move fast becuase they are following a fairly structured story. TWD can do whatever becuase they don't have an end goal. They know where they want to be at the end of a season, but that's about it, I think. They need lots of characters becuase when they kill them off, it's better if you have some sort of connection. I think we would all be a bit bored if it was only focused on the core group that keeps getting smaller. I would think by the end of Alexandria we will have a few new characters that survive, and I'd bet one of them is Deanna.

Just had a thought. the place is called Alexandria, and I'd assume they chose that name for a good reason. The real Alexandria burned to the ground, so I'm going to guess this place goes up in a massive fire, probably at the end of the season(in the spring).

Well, there is an actual suburb of Washington named Alexandria. Of course, it looks nothing like the isolated small town that we see on the show.

I'm really fighting to stay interested this season. They're focusing less on the main group, and trying to build stories around the Alexandrians, most of which I couldn't care less about. I don't care about Enid...not even a little bit. I find her character eye-rollingly angsty, same with Jessie's teenage son. Same with Deanna, her son, the lesbian doctor...I don't give a #### about any of these characters. The scene where Deanna's son gave his speech to the other Alexandrians about taking the food was cringe-worthy. I don't care about any of these people...they're all a bunch of whiners. I can't wait until this place falls, most of these idiots die and the story moves on.

As for the main group: I'm looking forward to getting back to some action away from "Drama City" with next weeks episode. It looks like some #### goes down with Daryl, so looking forward to that. As for Maggie's confession, it's convincing me even more that Glenn is going to die/or is dead. And those sewer walkers were awesome.

The "Alexandria" we see is supposed to be a planned neighbourhood within the city borders of the bigger Alexandria city. It's not the whole Alexandria, Virginia.
