stats do count regardless of if you finish. i have a ton of minuses that are testament to that. stats can be finicky. sometimes they can take a while to update. heck the club stats havent worked for like 2 weeks now...

The club stats don't work, however, the leaderboards do work. If someone has the club on their friends list, they could list everybody's stats vs. the world. (my ranking is 1791 so far )

This is just a gentle reminder that Socom came out today. If you happen to participate on the cpfatas and don't have a headset this would be a sweet time to pick up a fun game and get a free headset in the deal (or if you'd rather, pick up a headset and get a free game ... i really don't give a damn how you want to phrase it).
Bottome line, playing with a headset is far easier and more enjoyable for all involved. If you happen to want a new game or a headset, now would be a sweet time to kill two birds with one stone.

I had heard that yesterday was a shipping date, so it should be in today hopefully. There's also a firmware update that apparently ups the quality of bluetooth headsets available.

i wish i could get my bluetooth headset to work again... it did at first, but not anymore. and i hate that after a few games people will start to not hear others and it will come through all jumbled. i have found quitting the game and starting it back up helps. since it usually takes a minute or two between games in the DR, not a big problem.
but overall the voice communication in game is lousy. they need to work on it. along with plenty of other things...

i dont know if 'miss' is the right word, but its certainly different without you around!
btw, i was playing the other night with joborule. we had possibly the sweetest goal ever... jobo shot it wide and the defenseman for the other team tried to dive and he was just to the side of the goal and as he was diving down, the puck hit him in the head and deflected in. it was sweet!

True, the voice communication is oddly brutal. I haven't come across a game this bad for that. Hopefully the latest firmware will do something, but I kinda doubt it. Seems to be more nhl specific.
