Listening to the coaching staff, it does seem like a large part of the plan is to shoot pucks from the point and have players crashing the net.

Not really. There is some very skilled guys on our forward group but you negate them by forcing everything from the point. We are in tank mode so it's fine now but in a few years when the young talent starts coming it will be time to show Huska the door.

I think the system is built around how bad they are haha. I had the Flames having a bottom 10 forward core and bottom 5 defense and goaltending going into this season though.
