It is not how Barrie played as much as Bahl is an automatic choice after the trade with the Devils. Bahl barely played preseason and he still was guaranteed a spot.

I still absolutely hate the way this team plays offence. Gain the zone, throw it to the point for an unscreened shot. Same crap as last year.

This is just the first full year of a re-build, which started in earnest at the TDL last season. We Flames fans are in for years of this, and we have to relish this, because its the way to build a Stanley Cup contender. I want to see my team win the Stanley Cup in my lifetime. In Craig Conroy, I trust.

It is remarkable that either Huberdeau makes a bad play or if he makes a good play the guy always fans on the shot, or sometimes is a combination of Both (his pass into Zary's skates where both guys should have done better).
