The majority of those games are because he plays for a pretty good team imo

Hutton was the only decent option this past off season.
That was a missed opportunity.

Exactly, he had one poor game. His last start was a loss where he gave up 1 goal. Smith is not coming back, we will need a starter, why not see what we got? It isn't like he can be worse than Smith.

four of the first five shots that period went in the net...goalie should make the odd save
what are the Flames supposed to do allow no shots? teams allow good chances, that's hockey

When did he start to suck? He hasn’t had anywhere near the softies Smith has had, no where close. His save % is 30 pts better?

Fair, but the fanbase has no patience for games like Columbus.
This the Bronx cheer tonight.

Most of those are not realistic for many reasons.

I don't see EDM or COL trading their #1s.
Murray easily the best option, and might be possible with the bad season he's had.

Rittich actually performs well at home, Smith is atrocious on home ice.

I don’t really care too much for this team’s loyalty to Smith. He’s been here for 1.5 seasons, he’s a UFA after this season and his career is in the twilight years. The team, coaches and organization owe him nothing at this point. We’re the not the Coyotes.
Start the goaltender that can give up the least bad goals and win you the most games. I would’ve pulled him after that 4th one because the crowd is getting on him with the bronx cheers and this is a winnable game if we can get some better goaltending.

Most goalies don't allow a blooper level bad goal every home game

YES BIG SAVE DAVE TO THE RESCUE
I'm so sick of Smith's soft goals. 6 game winning streak or not.
