It sucks seeing the Flames get destroyed but it is even worse seeing Kessel light up the Flames. I hate Kessel.

I think BT has his eye on Dallas Eakins, BT has an eye for coaching talent.

So Rittich put the rebound in the corner. What a concept.

You mean... kicking it straight into the slot isn't the only option??

Did this team completely forget how to play defence this season?

No it isn't. He's put together what should be a playoff team on paper, save for maybe goaltending. It's not Treliving's fault that the players have forgotten how to play defence and fold like a cheap tent when they get a couple of goals scored on them. This is 100% on the players IMO.

We could make a collage of 'this guy scored' images tonight.

Mentally weak for collapsing? Hell yes.

That in no way erases the fact the Flames do not have a starting goalie that can play at this level.
Seeing eye tip find a small hole? Or the tip with two owns parked out front? Or Rust who has enough time to skate down the ice, take a ####, collect a rebound, and score, without the forward who was supposed to cover him never within 7 feet of him?

It was over at 3-0 and the Flames let their goalie down and not the other way around. As mentioned, he made some big saves to keep it 1-0 and 2-0.

Pitt has more finish then Montreal becuase this was the same lack of defensive confidence thr Flames had for 40 mins 2 nights ago.

The flames can be summed up in one play this game;

At around 14 minutes two flames went in on the pens D man that had the puck. They both hit the brakes and stopped 2 feet away from him and waved their sticks at him. The pens D had an extra whole second to make an outlet pass. Hornquist went on to score.

We must be the most passive team in the league.

Just waiting for opportunities instead of creating them.

Worst team in the league right now in high danger scoring chances when we were 8th best last season? You can hate Gulutzan all you want, but at least the team played defense under him. Team is even more talented this season so there’s absolutely no excuse for this travesty of a defense.

I can't figure out the save %. 6 goals on 21 shots. That's not good, right? Oh dear, a PP.

Flames starting to play a bit better with Rittich in there...not much, but a bit of an improvement.
