Tanguay and Iginla leading the team in scoring should not be happening. To me that says something about Roy and his inability to get better results from his younger and much more talented players.

Tanguay and Iginla are very good players, why would it be surprising that two guys who have typically spent their careers near the top of their teams' scoring lists are at the top of their team's scoring list?
On top of the fact that you are changing your argument, yet again, I would point out that you clearly haven't looked at the Avs scoring list. Iginla and Tanguay lead at 27, but Colorado's young players are all only a couple points back. Barrie (25), Landeskog (25), MacKinnon (24), Duchene (24), O'Reilly (23), Johnson (21).

They were a dozen points back of us at one point and are 9-3-2 in their last 14. Belittling the Flames doesn't change the fact that the suggestion the Avs have tuned out Roy is fairly absurd.
Sure but I didn't make the point.
Using the Flames as some mark of success is weird. Recent record is a better data point. Either way they have underachieved to this point

And for how many of those guys would one say those points are a disappointment? All but Barrie and EJ?

Jarome Iginla leading the team in goals again. Man, half the season is gone and now the start of the second half. Watch out, he'll start to score more in the second half. Jarome, Jarome, the metronome! If anything, I'd like to see Iggy back with the Flames and retire as a Flames. Wouldn't hurt to have a bigger body to protect Gaudreau either.

The only time you'll see Jarome with the Flames again is when he signs his 1 day deal and officially retires as a Flame. Anything else is just fantasy
I heard that the Wolves coach was actually lobbying to get Berra penalized for that celebration because they felt it was "excessive" as it was an empty net goal. He's a goalie, if he scores I think he's earned a bench high five.

You may be right, maybe he was focused on goal scoring. However he had only given up one goal in 58.5 minutes of play, so perhaps his focus was just fine tonight.
