Ted Nolan coached two teams with okay results. He then tried to get his GM fired and acted like an a-hole and went to interviews unprepared. The only thing keeping Ted Nolan out of the NHL is Ted Nolan.
Don Hay had two coaching stints in the NHL with poor results. Not sure why he should get any more chances than that.
Dave King had two coaching stints in the NHL with mixed results. Again not sure what he has done to show he deserves anymore than what he got.
Alex Radulov left on his own and then when he came back he acted incredibly unprofessional and didn't want to play defense.
I am really not sure how any of these guys didn't get chances let alone come close to being out of the NHL because they didn't follow the "rules."
Sather keeps his job because he has Stanley Cup wins and is able to fool James Dolan who is a moron. Gillis has had one shot, his team has made the play-offs every year and made a Cup final. Is it really that hard to figure out why he has a job?
