any chance the Broncos make a pitch for Flynn if Manning doesnt work out?
I know he has talked with seattle and Miami this far...but pretty quiet from his camp as of late.

To win, I think Peyton would be smart to go: SF, Denver, Tennessee.
I think he will be a Bronco.

I totally get the Tennessee connection, but still a little surprised they're going so hard for him. I think Locker's going to be a great player. Pretty much the only one of the 3 with a legit QB of the future already on board.
Kinda disappointed he's not going to AZ, but I'm happy with one less NFC option. Hoping for Denver out of those 3.

Wayne confirms that he chose the Colts over the Patriots (as does an NFL exec):

Every report about Manning the last month have been through the roof how good he's throwing the ball. Scary to think this guy is gonna have extra motivation going into this season....some team is going to be very lucky.

According to ESPN, Miami is the favorites for Flynn. He is also meeting with Seattle but ESPN feels Miami will sign him soon.

They were always the front runner with Philbin being there, so its no surprise....but really curious as to what kind of money they lay out for him.

There are "reports" out there that Flynn might already be in Miami with a deal to be done by as early as tomorrow.
I have also been reading that there has been a disconnect in the front office. Everyone except for Ross has wanted Flynn but because its the owner's money, they went after Manning. I think its been a no brainer from the start that the Fins would land Flynn.

Not sure who to believe is the front runner for Peyton. He's going to work out for the Titans tomorrow morning. The longer this has gone on the lesser I think the chances of him going to Denver are. Someone brought up a great point of him not wanting to leave the AFC not just because of Eli, but because he has so many notes and a feel for every AFC team. Would make sense with how much Peyton prepares and works....
Right now I'd rank the teams
1) Titans
2) 49ers
3) Broncos

The New England Patriots are close to finalizing a deal with free agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, The Boston Globe reported Friday night, citing a league source. http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2012-03-17/2012-nfl-free-agency-new-england-patriots-brandon-lloyd-laron-landry
LaRon Landry apparently is close to signing with the Pats and Anthony Gonzalez is in Beantown for a visit this weekend.
