I do find it a little amusing that Barrie signed a PTO to play here, considering his connections up in Edmonton. McDavid must have unfriended him.

It was less than a year ago when mostly the same team was in the BOTTOM 5 of the standings. I'm hoping that this somehow happens this coming season again, except they stay there this time. They don't have their 1st this year anyway.

Its top 12 portected I think, so ideally, they miss and pick 13-16 after trading away their 27 1st round pick trying to make it in.

Another day where the Oilers are not Stanley Cup champions.
I think I’ll rewatch game 7 again this weekend to kick off the new season.
