^^^Trump has almost no way to win the popular vote at this point, barring a massive polling error. He's under performing Romney in red states he'll still win, and doing worse than Romney in blue states he'll lose. I cannot see a single scenario he wins the electoral college but loses the popular vote, though I can see several scenarios where Hillary wins the popular vote but loses the electoral college.

When will there be any figures coming out on how much Trump actually spent on the campaign? I'm kind of figuring he'll say he actually made money on it.

Never, obviously, and if he does talk about them would anyone believe what he had to say?

The figures are already public record for Trump's expenditures. He has put in about $67 million of his own money, far less than the $100 million he claimed he would and not all that much more than the $50 million or so the allegedly much less rich Mitt Romney put into his campaign. Now what he makes out of the back end will be a bit more difficult to track, but what he's put in is of FEC record.

Anxious and excited for this to be over..
I doubt we can turn AZ blue with all the old white people here but it'll be a good push.
A victory if Arpaio gets booted... finally! Also hoping AZ gets legal weed.

I'd assume he does make money. He personally loaned money to his campaign so those loans will be repaid. He also washed a lot of money through his businesses. So in the end I think he makes money.
He also controls the donar list which if he is starting trump news is a huge value in terms of targeted marketing.

The loans got converted to a donation around the beginning of July. But he basically had no choice if you think about it, he was never going to be getting big fundraising money if he didn't convert them over, and since he has to file FEC reports we'd know quickly. The donor list though is invaluable, especially for the GOP. So what he'll do with the list is the big money play for him post election. The money he's making off the election is basically what he's paying Trump properties and brands in the FEC reports. So far I think it's just over $10 million.

I envision that event being somewhat like an Oilers Draft Party...full of intolerable boasting after "winning" despite a horrendous performance. In the case of the Oilers -- winning because of a draft lottery system that couldn't possibly imagine such incompetence. In the Dems' case, winning because of a historically bad opponent.

I see the conservative saltiness is already starting. Assuming Hillary wins these next few months may be utterly intolerable.
If she wins it is not by default because the GOP decided to put forth the single worst presidential candidate in any of our lifetimes, although that certainly doesn't hurt. I'm sure the narrative that she would have lost to anyone else will keep getting pushed for no less than the next four years.

It would be interesting if Trump refused to concede, but Pence did. That's not totally out of the range of possibility.

She would have beat Ted Cruz too. He was worse than Trump in my opinion.

The ridiculous part of Canadian conservatives being anti-Hillary is that she lines up well with the Harper Conservatives in terms of policy.
two-tiered healthcare
Paid Maternity leave
abortion access
LGBT rights
Taxation
On any major issue the Conservative platform in Canada is to the left of where the US currently is. But since the media states that Hillary is on the "Left" the right in Canada becomes anti-Hillary.
The only Hillary policy that might be considered left is the keystone opposition but that is American Protectionism disguised as environmentalism.

And if it hasn't done so 30 times before, the election has gone full ######

What will Donald Trump diehards do if he loses?

If Trump loses the presidential election on Tuesday, he will drive into the drive-thru lane of a restaurant he thinks is employing an illegal immigrant.
“You park the car in the drive-thru lane and you lock the keys in it,” he explained outside Trump’s Friday rally in Hershey, Penn., where he was part of the stage-assembly crew. “You call 911 and say, ‘There’s an illegal working here, the McDonald’s owner should be arrested for hiring an illegal.’ People think there’s nothing they can do? There’s an example of what they can do.”

Can't wait to see the creative means of "civil protest" that come in the wake of a Trump loss.

I fully expect Trump diehards to go crazy and start taking over land and holding blockades similar to the Oregon standoff.
This entertainment will continue.
