Yeah, exactly. Now go back and read your post about how some of us are spending too much time making awesome weapons.
I don't need to re-read it, I know what I wrote. I was being facetious. It's painfully obvious the game is about choice, which is why I went out of my way to tell you all that you're playing the game wrong.
Any PS3 owners download the Patch last night? Couldn't play, so I have no idea if it was even released for Canada or if it helped. Just wanted to see if any of you had any opinions.
I did. Never had a freezing problem before, but it frozen twice yesterday
i'm curious, if you change into werewolf form and then enter a town, proceed to tear it up and then leave before you change back, do you still get bounty?
You don't get a bounty since they cannot recognize you but everyone turns hostile so be careful not to kill the vendor NPCs. You can loot the corpses when you turn back into a human.
If they see you turn into a werewolf it is a capital bounty iirc, just like murder.

Oh. Good one, then.

I'm considering buying a ps3 for its blu ray capabilities and playing online with some friends. Tell me truthfully, is this game really worth it? I'm trying to decide if it is worth pushing me into purchasing the system. As background, I used to have an xbox360 (that went belly up) and really enjoyed Fallout3.

I think you would enjoy it, it feels very similar to Fallout 3.
There is no VATS but walking, sneaking, pick pocketing, lock picking all feel very close to Fallout. If you like swords, magic, dragons then I would think you would enjoy this.
There is no online so you wouldn't be playing it with friends.

Thanks. The playing with friends part will probably be various war type games.
So I wanted to give this weapon thing a try, I got my enchanting and alchemy up, created alchemy enhancing armor, used that to create enchanting and smithing enhancing potion, used that to create smithing enhancing armor, upgraded a bow to like 135 base damage, and then just with a fire enchantment, and a couple of pieces of +20% +30% armour (found stuff, didn't even get to enchanting my armor specifically for it), and 3x damage sneak, I 1 shotted a giant.
And that was an ebony bow, not even a daedric one!

Apparently the lastest patch screws a bunch of things up, including Magic Resistance failure. It means almost nothing now (sounds like a calculatory error).
On the flip side, it can cause dragons to fly backwards, which makes it all worth it.
For those that haven't done the Thief quest line yet, at the end when it's called Darkness Returns where you've got something and have to and go back to return it...
DON'T TALK TO THE BLUE GUY AND THEN LEAVE! This will leave your quest in a bugged state, and even console commands don't seem to fix it, not that I've found yet.
If you want to keep the item and use it for a while, then just don't go to the final stage until you are ready.
EDIT: Edited to make it less spoileriffic, because having it as a spoiler won't help anyone who needs it.
