The only thing that seemed to get any public attention about Columbia was the corresponding "UFO" sighting.

Columbia is actually the worse and more tragic story because that crew could very feasibly have been saved but office politics and stuffy arrogant managers (it was a woman too* - Linda Ham) who always wanted to hurry up the mission blocked all attempts by engineers to check for damage.
