According to a friend of mine who works at WHL, Rednkapp hasn't actually been running the show and at the end of the season Bale will officially be promoted to a player/manager position. This kid really is making sliced bread look rather trivial...

not really premier league but Capello should be sacked for the team he just named, I know its a friendly but its embarrassing

What do you have against Jay Bothroyd? Still carrying that Arsenal grudge? I bet he nets a hatty today.
Honestly, the cure for what ails England ought to be playing a team thats in a worse hell than them, is there a team thats done worse lately than France?
Although, in other news, Germany 1 England 0 at the U21.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

I have no problem with Jay Bothroyd, but this isn't like calling up some 19 or 20 year old who is lighting up the championship
he's past his prime, I know it's a friendly but if you are going to call up players who aren't a part of the main set up right now call up someone like Welbeck, Delfouneso, even Connor Wickham

Pfff Johnson probably wants to head back home to Sunderland, where he would've ended up if it wasn't for City's billions... no way Man City would let him go to Tottenham anyways I wouldn't think
Who else is looking forward to Jordan Henderson's England debut tomorrow??

hope he along with some other new blood get to play
its a friendly, no need for Gareth Barry and those like him to see the field
Why do I bother? why do I let myself get excited, and get up at 5:30am. I should just roll over in bed, have my wife knee me in the nuts and go back to sleep. Same result.
It ain't over yet. These matches have a funny way of panning out. No 0-0 bore draws here.
Because I can, I'd thought I'd post this to rile up the Spurs faithful.
Straight from the BBC:
• Arsenal's 2-1 loss at White Hart Lane in April was their first defeat to Tottenham in 21 league games.
• Spurs have won only one Premier League game away to Arsenal, a 3-1 victory in May 1993. The Gunners have taken 29 points from a possible 33 in their last 11 league games against their north London rivals.
• Tottenham have kept one clean sheet in their last 23 Premier League matches against Arsenal.
Sounds like being a Spurs fan is like being a yo-yo, nothing but up-down-up-down. Had a guy tell me that it is never boring supporting them.
I'd think that it would be amazingly frustrating to support Arsenal these days. No steel, no mental strength and no natural leadership will invariably lead to results like this. BBC states that Wenger will be disgusted at this performance. But he really should be disgusted with the type of team that he keeps building and keeps failing to win with. Like Capello at the World Cup, this guy must believe his own hype or be too arrogant to know any better.
