Not to be too big a dick to devo, but you remained a fan while a rapist was your QB. Rodgers is a horrible person, and yet he's still a far better person than Big Rape. Abandoning them now would be very odd.

I'm not abandoning them, my excitement and interest in the 2025 season has simply gone to zero and I'm disappointed that their plan for the most important position in football was to sit around and wait for a freaking 41 year old to finally decide in June if he wants to play for them or not.

and I'll never defend Roethlisberger, but just because he was once their QB doesn't mean I have to be happy if they sign a dick in 2025.

^But he's still better than most of your other QB options, and if he does take the next step on the Favre arc you'll be cheering for him in no time. It's pro sports, we always cheer for scum, as long as they are our scum and they perform at a high enough level.

they'll go 9-8 with or without Rodgers, I don't think it matters too much. I doubt he significantly moves the needle in comparison to Rudolph, but I guess we'll see.

Aaron Rodgers is a Steeler

As a Steelers fan I don't know what to think but at this point I think I'd rather try this than Rudolph
Hahahaha...ha ha

The Steelers replaced a talented 24 year old headache with a washed up 41 year old pain in the ass. That’s a strategy…

Somehow they'll still go 2-0 vs the Bengals

It will be interesting to see how much of Rodgers struggles in NY were due to him being washed vs Jets stink. He won't have any excuses in Pittsburgh.

Am I missing something? Who was the "Talented 24 year old headache" the Steelers had? Fields? I mean he mostly isn't good more than he's a headache.

Chubb signs with Texans. Sad to see my favorite Brown destroyed by injuries.

after pissing off Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals have now upped their game to piss off players before they even take the field for them. Bold strategy.

Quote:
Bengals rookie defensive end Shemar Stewart left Cincinnati's mandatory minicamp Thursday amid a contract dispute.

Stewart, the Bengals' first-round draft selection, has not participated in any of the team's offseason workouts. According to a source, the dispute is centered on interpretation of language in the contract that could affect guaranteed money.

"He wasn't here today, so we just focused on the guys that were here," coach Zac Taylor said after the Bengals completed their three-day minicamp.
Quote:
Stewart, when asked Tuesday by ESPN about how long he thought the contract dispute might last, indicated that he isn't seeking anything different or unique from previous Bengals draft picks.

"In my case, I'm 100 percent right," Stewart said. "I'm not asking for nothing that's never been done before. But in [the team's] case, y'all just want to win an argument instead of winning more games, in my opinion."
