I am good to get rid of it if everyone gets rid of it. I don’t want to be on whichever time zone (central/pacific) for half the year and mountain time the other half. If everyone does it then I would rather keep doing it. Nice to have the extra hour today.

having to change the clocks all the time is stupid.
My dog wasn't aware of any time change, so she was letting me know at her usual time it was time for a piss. no extra hour of sleep for me the last couple of days.

Time change (both spring and fall) are one of my favorite days of the year. The adjustment to sunrise/sunset (in particular sunrise) just makes the days feel better to me. Earlier sunset doesn't bother me at all, I'd rather have the extra daylight in the morning.

I like the time change because it reminds us that time is made up.

I hate that it makes it even darker when I go home after work. Daylight savings should be the other way around so there is still sunlight when you go home instead of going home in darkness and depression.

We should shift the clock slightly each day so I maintain full sunlight from 3pm to 11pm.

That's funny because I was just noticing how useless this light was on the commute this morning as opposed to after work.

Commute doesn't matter much to me, it's going to be dark both ways anyhow. I just hate spending the first 2-3 hours of work when it's dark outside, I'd much rather have darkness at the tail end of the day in winter. Summer is opposite, I want the evening as light as possible as long as possible (plus it's always light in the morning anyway). I'm sure some of this has to do with growing up in Northern Alberta and working in northern areas as well. It's bad enough now with the time change, not getting light until after 9am. Without the change it would be more like 10am.

I'm the complete opposite. I'd rather head into work in darkness knowing that the sun is going to come up and brighten my work day with something to look forward to. It also feels like you are getting a head start on things.
I hate commuting home in the dark when I'm tired and depressed. It makes you feel like you stayed at work too late and you are doing overtime.
I think I'm going to switch to half days at the office just so I can leave while the sun is still up.

Agreed, it's depressing finishing work at 5 it's already dark outside. We need more light in the evenings; don't care about extra light in the mornings.

It's depressing starting at work when it's still dark outside. We need more light in the mornings; don't care about extra light in the evenings.

I get I am in the minority but the time change didn't & doesn't bother me.
What has been bothering me this year is the coming of winter.
For some reason I am no happy about it at all.

Why can't we just have 16 hours of sunlight every day? That would fix everything.

Honestly not a single person at work has brought it up today and monday is a heavy meeting morning. I didn't really think about it until I saw this thread. IMO it's kind of overrated as an outrage topic.

The time change has never impacted me other than having to take a few minutes to change some wall clocks. I had friends in the past say "Well just wait until you have kids and then see how you like it", well my kids are now 6 and 4 and it's never impacted them or me still. I don't understand the yearly bitchfest about DST, it's such a minor event

Then everyone would be bitching that they miss the late evening sun. We’d be talking about changing the timezone to accommodate late sun.
