Didn't you roll out the same garbage a few years ago?
Come on you're coming across as ridiculous, I hate to insult posters, but this is the outright biggest illustration of headupyour###itis that I've ever seen.
You probably came on board and said the same crap about Yak and RNH and Hall, and Edmonton for all of those top draft picks continued to crap the bead. And will continue to do so when they completely stunt McDavid.
The fact that you came on here to post the most ridiculous bio medical waste after your organization make fools out of itself again tells me that you are either drunk, or in the words of advanced stats guys way below the curve hockey fan IQ wise.
Right now and in the future Oiler fans can and will get way more joy out of reading a book about do it yourself prostate surgery then watching that train wreck that you call a team.
Your post is actually really really embarrassing.

Don't forget other sports leagues around the world. The Oilers have become the worst sports franchise I've ever seen, period. Any glory they've ever had, has been covered in years, and years, and years, and years of garbage.

That's one of the funniest parts about Oiler fans when I was living there, is the naivete. I certainly get how there's still some hope for something good to maybe happen, as despite how they've played together, there still is a lot of young talent on the roster.
That said however, in light of how miserably it's gone thus far, how in the world can you be so sure that it WILL happen? How?? Was just up there and my friends were singing that same old tune themselves. There's no concrete evidence whatsoever to back up this claim, it's complete random hope and nothing more. If anything the evidence is piling up in the other direction.
The 2009-2012 days of Oiler fans waiting for this roster to "inevitably" be a Stanley Cup contender due to those #1 picks are long gone now, no matter what they still tell themselves. It's gone far too terribly with that core, consistently, for years now.

Impossible. Seattle isn't in Canada.

In 2003 I was writing a blog covering the Oilers for thescore.ca when my email became filled with fan letters from Flames fans who didn't think they were as boring as I did. You sought me out I responded like the blades of steel champion I am. Yes I am real. Yes I hate Calgary. Yes I love Edmonton.

No one will want to play for the Oilers. The Oilers will never be more than a feeder team for other NHL teams.
