Probably because they watched our current government destroy their chances at a decent standard of living over the last decade.

Just one house? Bruh...I would kill for that scenario. Several homes with flags in my own neighborhood. Makes for uncomfortable conversations at the community playground.

Not entirely true. Pretty significant op-ed in the Times today.

Yeah but, you’re in Florida. This is Victoria BC. Super weird in these parts.

I'm in a pretty hardcore blue area of Florida. It's still weird here. It's not like I'm in Okeechobee.

Yup, and imagine being stupid enough to throw away the sovereignty of your country because you don't like the PM of a whopping 9 years.
These are the times we are in, and how simple people's perspectives have become.

Guess it says alot about our leadership if they are deciding that the alterative better represents them.
The majority of Americans made that choice too.
Maybe canadians need to vote better soon?

Do Canadians need to vote better or do parties have to run better politicians?

Well, the polls are certainly encouraging! We could elect a Prime Minister later this year who is more than just a drama teacher. Someone who will rid us of the carbon tax, take a stand against US imperialism, and be the leader of the only party that has approved LNG pipelines in Canada going back to the 1970s. We need to get our products to new markets and diversify our resource trading partners!
Wouldn't that be a great thing? I hope that you're as excited about the prospects of Mark Carney as I am.

Oh, my sweet summer child, do you really think simply stepping down as PM is going to stop them? Alberta conservatives were still complaining about Pierre Trudeau after he had been out of politics (not to mention dead) for decades. You can expect the convoy troglodytes will still be flying their "F*** Trudeau" flags on their jacked-up F-350s until the 2060s.

Not only is this #### possible, it's being planned in front of us.
Sitting congressman talking about canada becoming a territory on bill Maher.
Throw in an in power government that believes they have a unanimous level alberta mandate and we have a dark, dark storm brewing. The cia doesn't need plants in Alberta. We have a lady who wants to be a state governor in charge of the province. We don't have a strong federal government. We are standing on the edge of a knife.

What a bizarre survey. Question 1 is a statement “ I would never vote for Canada to become part of the US”. The 18-34 group agreed with that statement at a 77 percent rate, higher than the 35-54 crowd by 3% but lower than the 55+ by 10 percent.
Than later on they are asked the question about voting yes if they could get full citizenship and asset conversion. Now 34% of the same group say they would vote yes on this, despite 77% saying they would never vote yes.
Now aside from this, the question is a ridiculous one. Basically a 50 percent bonus to your asset pool?
