The stupid thing is if they just accepted that and sent 6 or 700,000 soldiers over by foot and told them they would have to eat what they found the Russians would probably be on the Polish border by now, it is their modern gear that is getting destroyed, your basic squaddie with a rifle is all but immune to javalins and drones
Does Russia even have that many troops to send? It sounds like they are already resorting to deploying conscripts, which is something they promised not to do. The truth of the matter seems to be that Russia is no longer capable of maintaining multiple military engagements at once. It also sounds like it took many weeks for the Russians to deploy the troops they had and that barely had enough transportation and supplies for those troops.
It was an ammunition fire caused by a storm, that Ukraine prayed for. But since the people of Ukraine are not real, the Devil responded by sending the storm and when that wasn't enough for the glorious Russian Navy, the Devil was seen personally on the deck smoking and throwing said cigarette into the ammunition room. But a brave Russian soldier stood up and stomped out the cigarette, and the Devil had to raise the fires of hell to take out the ammunition room. Even with this the ship still didn't sink and we recovered it, but it needs repairs. So yes, it is Ukraine's fault for the accident and this attack was revenge for the sinking.
Jeez keep up with the story.

I am surprised this hasn't been posted yet as it's a major development in recent days. With Finland and Sweden looking at joining NATO in the very near future and Putin believing in his heart and his mind that can not happen, something and somebody will have to give.
Russia is warning of nuclear weapons being placed very very close to NATO countries and this has the potential to escalate.

Like they don't already have nukes close to there? They are already suspected to have them in Kaliningrad and almost certainly have them near the Baltics. Not that it really matters since these thing fly and are carried by subs that could be already off the coast for all we know.

You can see the exact spot it was hit and went down, it was near Snake Island when it was hit. You can see the distance that Ukraine managed to shoot it down from.

Subs are the nuclear hammers, there's enough warheads on them to end the world many times over, just one Ohio class sub can carry up to 192 independently targeted warheads of 100 to 475kts each (Hiroshima bomb was 15kts)
