I picked up a wooden Easton with a built-in ABS blade from Canadian Tire last week for ~$20.

FYI, all one technically needs is a hockey stick right? Just want to make sure you guys don't play on roller blades and full-on gear or something.

I'm going to be a game time decision. Rolled my ankle walking my dog last night and I don't know if I can run on it. I'll let you know.

It better not rain later, I bought a hockey stick just for this one-time occasion.

I'm staying about 3 blocks away from the rink, and right now it looks cloudy and a bit windy.....but no rain and totally playable. Knowing Calgary it could stay like this all day, or bust out into a hail-storm.
