Think the Whitecaps are legit this year. I think any talk of Cavalry winning the Canadian Championship this year (which was a massive stretch at best) can go out the window.
Ok, so I turned away for a minute and missed the red card. I’d love to see the highlight of anyone has it. I feel like there’s no way the ref saw anything, but she did go for a straight red, so it must have been egregious.
I thought that from the outset that Ottawa looked pretty good. We came around for the second half of the first half. I thought that we’d get back in it when we were down by one, but after the red that was never on.
I know we’re missing Klomp, and that’s obvious. But what it doesn’t answer is why we can’t score. That said, the goal we did get was nice and it looks like Elva is a good addition.
I feel much better about that gave than last week’s, even though the result sucks. They played exponentially better.
Didn’t see the red card at all. I was lucky enough to be in the field side tables so about as far away as possible from it. Two bad bounces ended up in our net and we missed our best three chances. Aird is cooked, Wahling needs to play there
