So dead.

Usually just one grocery store, one place to get fast food and a gas station, of even a fast food place.

Looks cold. It was 62 F here today and I was chilly this morning cause it was a low low 47 degrees (8 C)

Now I know why Kris Russell is so tough for a small guy. It's all about his upbringing.

I'm loving him more and more all the time.

Hasn't gotten to play as much in the second period. He's not on the powerplay or the penalty kill and there was lots of that in the 2nd period. Plus Hartley likes to put out the jorris line right after which resets the lines. He might have only had 2-3 shifts in the second period.

But he has looked good. Had an awesome chance to score in the first period.

With only 5 minutes of ice time and all of these power plays, it's hard for Sven to get noticed tonight.

Monahan seemed sleepier than usual in that feature interview

Remarkable how this team plays regardless of the adversity.

Bob Hartley is doing a tremendous job of convincing his troops what hard work and high end compete level will accomplish.

Hard to find an NHL team that is more committed to winning.

Fun to watch.

It's a nice show to keep the buzz going.

It's not great, but it flows seemlessly and you can get up and talk and generally act like a guy who's had 4 beers on a weeknight without missing much.

It's a lot better than it was in season 2 and 3.

I used to #### all over that show, but now I just watch it and roll my eyes periodically.

I liked it when his Dad said "If someone asks you how big you are - Say big enough"

Russell has been solid and keeps on improving. I think he is close to leading the NHL in blocked shots so far.

You know what I love about Canadian hockey players from small towns? They are all so humble. They still have their 'best friends' back home and they are so polite and soft spoken while interviewing.

If you watch college football or basketball and listen to the kids interview, a lot of times you'll see grandstanding and arrogance- but small town NHL guys are always unpretentious.
