He had a good chance in the first, but has not been overly noticeable. He has only had 5 minutes of ice time through 2 periods, lowest of the forwards.

Okay. because why not, right?

Its been a LONG TIME since i have watched canadian tv lol.
Stroumbolopolous (sp?) is probably the single best one on one interviewers in Canada, hosted his own successful show on CBC, and is a HUGE hockey fan (Montreal fan too, must suck tonight). He's not just the guy from Much Music anymore. He's all grown up.

Just FYI.

I think that 2nd period was arguably more impressive than the 1st period. Because its all well and good playing well, but its how this team responds when there is a push back that is key. And we just shut their push back down. They had a little spell in the middle of the period where they started to apply some pressure, but all in all, we just ground away and didn't let them get going.

No doubting they have been terrible, but we've been impressive on the puck in the 1st and impressive off it in the 2nd. Keep them off the scoresheet in in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd and we hopefully should be able to wrap this one up. They get an early goal and everything changes.

I guess ultimately it didnt matter for SJ.
Although the Flames help Kipper for his career, the Sharks were just crazy successful.

I recall what, 1995 when they played Calgary in the first round.
I have HATED the sharks since. A few winters ago I lived in lake Tahoe, and it is a local market for all things San Francisco area, and it sucked.

The Flames have had the vast majority of the quality offense in this game. 3 goals and a couple posts and a bunch more excellent chances.

The boys are playing a hell of a game.

Sven doesn't have a lot of jump. He did play last night and had to drive to MTL after the game in Glens Falls. I'll give him a game to get his legs under him.

Sven is here because everyone else is injured. I would love to see him EARN a spot, but who knows.
I am not a huge fan of his, but maybe he can make me a believer.

He had a couple of nice chances in the first, but didn't see the ice very much in the second. Only 5:45 in ice time through 2, lowest on the team among forwards.
