They could have done another 10 season of WWDITS. Love that show and still need to watch finale.

Actually started probably a bit obscure newish comedy (2nd season just out), Colin from Accounts. I don't know if it streams in Canada. It was produced for Foxtel in Australia. We was ched pilot. It's pretty funny.

Shrinking is basically Ted Lasso with the football team replaced with a group of friends living in fancy houses. Has a lot of laughs, some deep emotional moments, and a bunch of sub plots I have trouble caring about.
Really enjoying Day of the Jackal with 2 episodes to go. Like how it’s isn’t a straight up good vs evil and there is some moral ambiguity with the leads. It’s up there with Shogun, Slow Horses, and Rings of Power as my favourite shows of 2024.
It’s the last episode of What We Do in the Shadows tonight. Will be greatly missed. Any suggestions for the new funniest show on TV?
English Teacher is solid. Different style of comedy though.

Tried an episode and a half of the Penguin and just not hooked at all. Feels plodding with every character having the same general, dark, cold demeanor. If that's how I feel now is there any reason to continue? I full understand some shows start off slow and build and need time, so I'm willing to keep going if this is that kind of show.
One of my favourite Top Gear specials is when they take convertibles to Iraq and then they fill the car doors with sand to make them 'bullet proof' and the security guy fires a rifle at it and it goes through the driver's door, across the car and through the passenger door.
Yeah. Car doors are not bullet proof.

One of my favourite Top Gear specials is when they take convertibles to Iraq and then they fill the car doors with sand to make them 'bullet proof' and the security guy fires a rifle at it and it goes through the driver's door, across the car and through the passenger door.
Yeah. Car doors are not bullet proof.
They did a Mythbusters on that also, the door didn't stop any bullets. When they packed the door full of phone books I think it stopped small calibre bullets but rifle and shotgun rounds still went through.

I literally just watched that episode yesterday. Yeah, the 50 cal went right through, killed the engine block, and all 3 "occupants"
