I agree with that.

But, one more thing! How is Louis possibly through the legal system and out of jail in less than a year? - Humorless Lawyer.

I’m starting Bad Sisters now.

Season 1 was excellent. Season 2 is not as good, but it's still a good watch.

Okay, it's official, every show is getting a reboot...

Something I just found out recently, Frankie Muniz is now a NASCAR driver.

I wonder if all the kids will be coming back? The actors who played Reese and Dewey haven't had an acting credit since 2010.

"Now we get to see what this family has been up to!!!"

Well...one dude has been cooking meth in a Winnebago in the Desert for starters...

I recommend anyone that watches Bad Sisters to watch it with their significant other and pretend that the Brother-in-law isnt actually a bad guy.

I'm hoping they're planning on sewing some of those up.

It does seem like the show is finding it's feet, I have hope for Season 2. Its kind of like 'Foundation' with a bit of a rocky start but eventually finds itself.

I do like the progression of the Jackal though, he's getting to that amoral area but...

Spoiler!

Bookie season 2 has started.
You have to like Maniscalco to think it's funny, but it's funny.

Right? He’s not a murderer.

I liked Bad Sisters better than White Lotus.

(Both quirky ‘murder mysteries’)

Haha

I also like doing that when my wife makes me watch Love Actually every year at this time.

I like to mess with her and sympathize with Alan Rickman’s character.

“That poor guy. Imagine how much stress he’s under. He’s trying his best given the situation.” - that sort of thing.

I really liked The Good Place but I don't find this at all funny. I'm giving up on it at ep. 3.

Its not the same kind of show.

The Good Place was charming and irreverent and I enjoyed it for that, people that understand their flaws is funny in it's own way.

In this show? I've dealt with Alzheimer's and Dementia in my family and I respect that they didn't try and make fun of it, but they didn't dodge it either.

Its not all fun. For anyone. But overall, I felt it was a well-crafted show. Its not non-stop laughs, so if thats what you're after then you're looking in the wrong place.

I find Shrinking to be one of the least realistic shows I watch. No one talks this way and frankly all these characters are so perfect and self aware.

But the zingers are humor are great. And because the characters are so well spoken and fleshed out, you care about them.

Shrinking is basically Ted Lasso with the football team replaced with a group of friends living in fancy houses. Has a lot of laughs, some deep emotional moments, and a bunch of sub plots I have trouble caring about.

Really enjoying Day of the Jackal with 2 episodes to go. Like how it’s isn’t a straight up good vs evil and there is some moral ambiguity with the leads. It’s up there with Shogun, Slow Horses, and Rings of Power as my favourite shows of 2024.

It’s the last episode of What We Do in the Shadows tonight. Will be greatly missed. Any suggestions for the new funniest show on TV?
