There's lots more where that came from. Lots more. It's the Oilers way, just like the Canucks circa 2011. Dive and try to win the games on power plays. It's terrible hockey. And if the refs won't call the dives it's just a confirmation that it's totally fine to do, in fact you'll be rewarded for it.

If the Oilers didn't consistently get their diving penalties they'd be hard pressed to have made the finals once, let alone twice.

I remember last year in that game when Dallas outshot them 50-10 and the game was decided on a blatant McDavid dive.

And even if they do call it they don’t care, they’ll play 4 on 4 just like they did after every scrum in the flames series. The nhl needs to fine for a first diving offense and a suspension after that

They would have to think twice about flopping from then on.

They really need to do it.
