This is why you don't put yourself in the position where you basically have to run the table at the end of the season. Bad call, bad goal, bad ref, ect.
Its hard to go on a big streak even if you are playing well
home record is ridiculously bad...if it were average we would be laughing. You know what will happen next season though...great at home/cant win on the road

They have 20 minutes to get it back or their season is toast, hopefully they understand this.

Yup I agree talk about the defence all you want but the Sharks third goal is absolutely unacceptable Smith! You could see the entire team deflate.

Why call a time out when they practice the PP every day and know exactly what plays they need to set up. It was just extremely poor execution. Everyone and their GD timeouts. We’ve been burned before when we didn’t have a timeout left for to call for a review.
Smith doesn’t have it tonight. He’s looking Arizona bad. But as one of our MVPs this season, I wouldn’t embarrass him with a pull that late into the period. I’d sit him after the intermission though and start Rittich for the 3rd.

Someone went waaaaay over the line describing their displeasure about GG. That is really all that needs to be said.

Very frustrating to watch here near San Jose.
Not only because the game getting pissed away all at once, but listening to the announcers saying things like "Johnny Gaudreau gets that call ALL DAY LONG" in regards to the Hertl high-stick non-call.
The Flames have no response on the ice anymore. Even the San Jose announcers see Mike Smith is having problems yet GG doesn't call timeout or pull Smith.
That sound we hear is the season passing us by.

Smith can't track the Puck glove side. It's obvious to everyone. You pull him after the third goal if you have HALF a brain. SJ is talking about shooting everything glove side at intermission. They will score a couple more if GG doesn't pull him. This coach has been astounding with his horrible coaching decisions all year, I guess why change now?

Hamilton showed why he isn’t close to being a top D after that last goal.
Just covers empty space instead of the free man coming down the slot.
Tough night for Smith, and it looks like the Flames, like much of the season, try and find a way to lose even though they played a good first half of the game.

Wasted season ibn many respects. We don't quite have all the right pieces to take this team to the next level and that needs to be addressed.
I think BT got what he wanted in a puck possession coach but missed the boat on an "experienced" motivator with proven results. Too many games this season where we didn't get 2 points where we should have.

This game should’ve been 4 1 in the early 2nd. Instead it’s 2-2. And then we score a beauty from Jonny only to waste is right after. Then we get gifted a 5 on3 power play. Only to piss it away. The season is over. And this game is every reason why that is true.

This is where it would be nice to have your assistant coaches pipe in.
Instead Dave Cameron absolves himself of all blame after a loss.

The Sharks player in front of the net had time to take a coffee break before he shoveled in the puck. If Hamilton was covering his man there never would have been a second shot.

Pulling a warrior like Smith in the heat of battle? Cowardice! We have a full 30 to go!
I would hate to have most of you on my hockey team.
