Best part of that article is this quote from McDavid:

“My favourite York Simcoe memory would be playing in the Quebec Peewee Tournament,” he said of the famous showcase for young talent. “Our little hometown team made it all the way to the final … it was really fun and special.”

Couldn't even get his team over the top in Peewee.
Was probably a -2 with 4 points in the final.

Lauren Kyle is intolerable lol. Also, the furniture restaurant thing in Edmonton is a hilarious absolute flop if anyone is wondering.

For crying out loud the officials are asking Mavi how to handle Leon's faceoffs...... he has been given this false 'god' complex when he is an extremely flawed hockey player on many levels.

This is actually really Trumpy. What the F is Hockey Canada thinking?

Is the Hockey Canada site messed up for anyone else? It looks grayed out. I wanted to send an email about one player being able to profit from Hockey Canada merchandise. Bizarre. Are any organizations not corrupt? No, sorry, I know, I will see myself out.

still small sample size, but:

Skinner in Edmonton: 23 GP, 2.83 GAA, .891% svs
Skinner in Pittsburgh: 10 GP, 2.34 GAA, .902% svs

Jarry in Pittsburgh: 14 GP, 2.66 GAA, .909% svs
Jarry in Edmonton: 7 GP, 3.01 GAA, .881% svs

and they gave up Kulak and a 2nd. Never change, Mulletville.

but Kelly Hrudey, the "unbiased" Flames announcer praised Jarry for his technique and all around greatness. so therefore it must be true. I used to like Hrudey and the job he did, not so much, maybe we need a Hrudey is no good thread as he is such an oilers homer. got a little off topic here, lol.

Jarry had a 12 team NT list. How could he do this to himself?

in a different timeline, he's entering the final stretch before he can get the F out of there. No wonder he's miserable, but he did it to himself.

It figures. No ketchup in the joint, and Edmontonians stay away in droves.

If she figures out the complex "using more than two colours at a time" design technique, she may have a career.

Once in a while I look up the Trove's address on the Edmonton Board of Health violators webpage. Just for fun.
