Yes, but keep in mind, he ALWAYS looks that way! It's his defining feature!

It was the dumbest thing I've ever seen a high-profile athlete do.

It really is too bad he signed that. Because the meltdown up there right now would be amazing right now

Game was essentially over three minutes into the game and Bouchard still played 25 minutes, McDavid played 21 minutes and Draisaitl played 19 minutes. They just can’t help themselves

Edmonton's goals against: 166 (9th worst)
Calgary's goals against: 149 (9th best)

Skinner's save percentage on Edmonton: 89.1% (93.3% and 1.58 GAA in last 7 starts in Pittsburgh)
Jarry's save percentage on Edmonton: 88.1%

I'm worried they are going to fire Knob and hire DeBoer.

To the surprise of no one, Skinner's and Jarry's stats have a done a flip. Maybe Jarry is still not 100 percent, but its not a great situation to have 9.83 million tied up in goalies/goalie buyouts given what the Oilers are getting.

New coach bump up, sure. Long term? Nope.

Knob looked good because he was McDavid's choice and McDavid bought in to the concept he wanted the coach to use. DeBoer won't last on Team McDrai. No good coach will.

Then you have the GM who is all out terrible. He walked into a pre-built team in Chicago and wasn't the guy who acquired all the key players in their 3 cups.

It really needs to not be forgotten that the GM covered up his staff SA'ing one of his players.

He can still request a trade, which would be maximum chaos. Leaving as an unrestricted free agent, while still dramatic would eventually be rationalized as part of a sometimes cruel business. However, a trade (especially to a team of his choosing and for minimal return) would be a complete BETRAYAL.

Gretzky was under contract when he was traded.

Why would that matter?

They've had good coaches. The players that matter think the coach is there for telling everyone ELSE what to do.

At this point McDavid has to be totally uncoachable right?

He could do endless layups, though. From both sides!

His whole career he has been told that he is special and the team will adapt to him, never held accountable. He probably feels that he is above the coach.

What an abomination this jersey is. No better model for it than Mcavi though.

If it's the Great Canadian Jersey why am I struggling to find a Flaming C among all that vomit inducing array of ugliness? Just as well I suppose.

The Great Canadian Jersey: Connor McDavid first to don unique jersey that stitches together hockey history https://share.google/Qh57uDDE35g0yqMqj
