And didn’t he only play vs Inter because Upamecano felt a tweak?

Hopefully he felt a twinge and this is all parties being super cautious

Ha yes how could I forget about that.
Bayern has some of those old East German "vitamins" I am sure still hanging around the depths if Saebner Strasse that Davies could use.

And please let's not give Wheeler and his usual hyperbole and melodrama any more time than it deserves (and thank goodness we don't have to hear his screeching, self indulging, voice on the next 3-8(!) CMNT games here in November). There's an obligation to club, especially one that is making him a better player and person than most clubs in this world would, nevermind keeping him fit for match soccer these weeks leading up to games...again, ask Owen!
Just a terrible break, hopefully this is minor and he's near 100% vs the Croats and Morocco.

I think Crepeau just broke his leg in the MLS Cup Final

They’re not showing the replay, they said it’s that bad

His leg snapped in half, I went back and watched the replay. He knew right away. That's two starters out for Canada in one day. Yikes.

That LAFC defender who played that brutal pass back is public enemy number 1 in Canada now

Soccer gods hate Canada or something?
These poor guys; chance of a lifetime to play in the World Cup for Canada and gone like that.

Terrible news.
But Crepeau wasn't starting anything.

Does this mean Carducci may get a sniff and call up? 2x goalie of the year in the CPL, are the other goalies not named Borjan and Crepeau starting anywhere?

Let's not get dramatic. Davies could be ok to play, Crepeau likely would not have touched the field. There's a chance this has no on field effect.

Dayne St Clair is starting for Minnesota United and I personally think he had a better year than Crepeau.

Pantemis in Montreal. Bet he gets the call

Don't forget about Breza and Hasal as well. Carducci is pretty far down the depth chart now

For sure. I think it’s Pantemis since he got the call for the Bahrain friendly

Just an awful day. My heart hurts for these guys

I am sure he's also behind the "pay to play" Dino Bontis from Forge as well, at least on the CSA and CSB depth chart...not so sure if the MNT locker room would take to him (Bontis) that kindly of course.

Small consolation for Crepeau, but LAFC ended up winning. His injury may have been a rallying point for them.

Can we place Borjan under house arrest for a couple of weeks?

Good for LaFc and Crepeau.

Truly gutwrenching for him, who knows what 4 years brings and no guarantee he will still be in favour with Herdman/CSA(B) or in form.

You'd like to think he could come to Qatar with the team since he did play in some key qualifiers, but any call from the CSA to him now is likely to consist only of asking for his Nike tracksuit and sweatshirt back.
